PM Kisan Yojana is a government scheme that was introduced to provide financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to farmers in India. The amount is paid to them in three equal instalments and goes directly to their bank accounts. To check the PM Kisan Yojana beneficiary list, farmers can visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in, select their state, district, sub-district, block, and village, and view the list of approved recipients.For a status check, farmers can use the ‘Beneficiary Status’ feature available on the portal. To use this feature, enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or registered mobile number to know the status of your payment or application. To apply online, eligible farmers who are not yet registered can use the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option on the official pmkisan.gov.in, fill out the required details like Aadhaar number, bank account information, and landholding details, and submit the application online. The PM Kisan Yojana portal also allows farmers to track the progress of their application after submission. All services, including checking the beneficiary list, verifying payment status, and applying online, are available free of cost. The scheme aims to provide direct benefit transfer to support the financial needs of farmers and ensure transparency and ease of access through digital services. PM Kisan Yojana, officially known as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, was launched by the Government of India in December 2018 to provide direct income support to small and marginal farmers. The scheme was initially announced in the interim Union Budget 2019 and came into effect from December 1, 2018. Today, the wait of farmers across the country is over.
